      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in remediating current processes in preparation for the new Workday accounting solution
      - Analyze risks and opportunities to Financial Services Program leadership
      - Coordinate across different work units to understand interconnected processes
      - Provide backup to program budget staff during peak workloads
      - Work on special projects for the Chief Financial Officer and Budget Officer

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, accounting, economics, statistics, or related field AND four (4) years of budget experience, including one (1) complete biennial cycle
      - Current or recent experience as a Budget Analyst 3
      - Equivalent education/experience accepted
      - Additional experience in professional accounting, budgeting, finance, or public administration may substitute for education
      - A master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience but does not substitute for the completion of one (1) biennial budget cycle

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of budget development and legislative processes, including the fiscal note process
      - Familiarity with state financial systems such as AFRS, ABS, TALS, SPS, CBS, and Web Intelligence
      - Understanding of employee performance management standards and practices
