  Overview

  We are looking for adjunct instructors to teach our Career Orientation course at our Online campus. No prior teaching experience is needed; we provide training, mentoring, and ongoing faculty support.

  Our terms are five weeks long and offer faculty the perfect environment in which to share their specific industry experiences to help students achieve learning outcomes. Candidates must be available evenings and weekends to support our busy adult learners.

  Qualifications

  Education/Certifications:

  • Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Career Counseling/Career Development/ Career Management/Career or Technical Education from a regionally accredited educational institution required.

  Experience:

  • 3-5 years Career Services required; 5-7 years career industry experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of Career Coaching preferred
  • 5+ years of professional resume writing experience or CPRW (Certified Professional Resume Writer)
  • Industry experience must be within the last 5 years.
  • Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required)

  Required Skills:

  • Experience working with technical and health program students a plus
  • Skilled in translating military experience to civilian experience in a resume a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using technology to deliver online curriculum (Windows, Zoom)
  • Ability to quickly build connections with students using strong interpersonal skills (including approachability and empathy).
  • Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment
  • The highest levels of integrity at all times.

  
  Online Faculty Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable high-speed internet required
  • Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam.
  • Your computer system must pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test.
  • Required to teach one live session each week via Zoom and hold one live office hour per week via Zoom
