- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Environmental Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
- Doctoral degree preferred.
- Five years of relevant professional or teaching experience in environmental science, ecology, sustainability, or related fields preferred.
- Experience integrating environmental data analysis, GIS tools, or fieldwork into instruction is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with instructional technology and its application in the classroom and laboratory settings.
- The highest levels of integrity at all times.
- Ability to quickly build connections with students using strong interpersonal skills (including approachability and empathy).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment
- Comfortable being first point of contact to troubleshoot software or technical concerns for students.
- Reliable high-speed internet required
- Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam.
- Your computer system must pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test.
- Required to teach one live session each week and hold one live office hour per week via Zoom

We are looking for instructors to teach our undergraduate Environmental Science to undergraduate students pursing degrees in Business or Technology fields. This would be an ideal position for an Environmental Science professional. No prior teaching experience is needed; we provide training, mentoring, and ongoing faculty support.
ECPI University faculty members are responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on instruction focused on student success. The Environmental Biology Faculty member will teach courses that explore ecological systems, environmental science principles, and sustainability practices. This role emphasizes experiential learning through applied projects, lab work, and technology-enhanced instruction designed to prepare students for careers in environmental science and related fields.
