  The opportunity:

  We're seeking experienced virtual instructors to teach our Patient Care Technician (PCT) program. Stepful programs are designed to support students at every step of the way, from getting certified by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) to finding high-quality healthcare jobs.

  This is a fully remote 1099 contract position.

  What you'll do:

  • Teach highly-engaging live classes over Zoom, 2 mornings or evenings per week

  • Grade student projects and provide feedback as necessary

  • Engage with students daily via email and SMS, inspiring them and guiding them through graduation

  • Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful

  • Provide ongoing support, trouble-shoot issues, prepare and plan for future modules, as needed

  What you'll bring:

  • Experience teaching Patient Care Technician (PCT) courses online, with knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising

  • Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience with digital tools for teaching, teaching in either online or blended/hybrid formats

  • Experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

  • Stellar writing and communication skills

  • Ability to work 10 hours per week per class taught

  Bonus points if:

  • You hold clinical experience working as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  Compensation:
  The hourly rate range for this opportunity is $30/hour - $33/hour. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity and other relevant business considerations.
