What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support ongoing activities and initiatives within the Department of Online Learning and Academic Affairs
- Assist with training and support for students, faculty, and staff on Canvas and related educational technologies
- Create and update course shells in Canvas and assist with large-scale projects
- Help plan and support technical aspects of virtual and on-ground learning experiences
- Create and edit multimedia products, including video and audio content
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field
- At least one year of experience in distance learning and faculty development preferred
- Knowledge and experience using a Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Canvas
- Excellent interpersonal skills and innovative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in educational media development
- Proven track record of effectively applying technology to teaching and learning
- Familiarity with managing course syllabi and related documentation
