What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide surgical case coverage in the operating room for the Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) Therapy System
- Assist operating room staff with product-related matters, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming
- Understand the implantation and credentialing processes within local hospitals
- Maintain compliance with hospital access requirements, including necessary immunizations
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons and other medical professionals during procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree or experience in a clinical technical/operating room environment
- Ability to project a positive image in a professional setting
- Proficiency in MS Office software and general computer literacy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including nonverbal skills for OR communication
- Ability to maintain all required immunizations for healthcare employment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in an operating room or healthcare environment
- Familiarity with Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy or similar medical devices
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
