What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide surgical case coverage in the operating room during the implantation of the Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) Therapy System
- Support operating room staff with product-related matters, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance
- Communicate effectively with neurosurgeons, epileptologists, and nurses during procedures
- Ensure compliance with hospital credentialing and access requirements
- Maintain required immunizations for healthcare employment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree or experience in a clinical technical/operating room environment
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including nonverbal skills for the operating room
- Ability to project a positive image
- Must maintain all required necessary immunizations for healthcare employment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as an Operating Room Support Specialist or in a similar role
- Familiarity with the implantation and operating room processes
- Established relationships with local hospitals
