Job summary
The role will be required to provide day to day management, recruitment and leadership to administration teams at Yeovil District Hospital (YDH).The team member will be expected to work across both acute sites (Musgrove Park Hospital) at times as the need arises.The post holder will provide operational support to the Senior Operational Manage to include responding to PALS concerns, undertaking demand and capacity reviews, scheduling theatre and outpatient activity.
Main duties of the job
Deal with patient, relative, GP and colleague queries or issues which administration teams are unable to resolve.Implement changes to procedures for policies, guidelines, protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within own area of work..Produce detailed information as requested to support preparation of business cases, identifying priorities and improvements for service delivery.Check and sign off employee time sheets for additional hours, sending queries to the service manager.Provide supervision and directly manage administration staff.Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested.
