Job Description

- Manage the day-to-day warehouse operations
- Oversee and grow the authentication & warehouse teams
- Continuously improve the process flow
- Work closely with our external partners
- Collaborate on a daily basis with eBay's cross-functional teams
- Oversee security, health & safety, and other standards are kept in warehouse and tested regularly
- Design, manage and improve SLA reporting - monitor performance, report out on it weekly, identify improvements by working with partner and cross functional teammates
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience through working closely with eBay’s product, partnerships, logistics and more
- Identify future opportunities to drive cost efficiencies across the authentication process
- Surface and rectify issues by working with our internal customer service teams
- Budget tracking – manage PO payment to vendors, track against allocated budget and report out monthly on status
- Support development of eBay’s overarching authentication strategy
- 7+ years of prior warehouse management experience
- Strong people manager
- Analytical and problem-solving skills ability to research and address concerns
- Flexibility to manage evolving work-flows and responsibilities
- Strong operational track record
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of standard operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, Slack, etc.
- Prior authentication experience is preferable
- Excellent decision-making skill with a knack for identifying, prioritizing, and articulating the highest impact initiatives
- Very detail oriented and organized
- Strong team player and executor
- Process efficiency – proactively look for ways to improve operations
- Ability to work independently to hit goals
- Customer focus Retail / eCommerce experience a plus

eBay is hiring an Operations Manager - Authentication to its facility in West London. The right candidate will have experience of running warehouse operations and ideally a keen interest in authenticity of high end items. Every strong team needs a strong leader. We are looking for a manager who can grow the team and the workflows, has an agile approach and is open to work with multiple categories as well as a good collaborator to our partners and our cross-functional teams in our world class operation.

The team is passionate about ensuring buyer trust, elevating the eBay brand, and improving conversion and sales price for sellers.
The work the team is doing is core to eBay’s strategy and a key priority for leadership. In this role, we are looking for an experienced leader in the luxury goods authentication space to manage the day-to-day operations of our current and future authentication programs. They will be responsible for all operational activities including SLA reporting and performance monitoring, identifying potential areas of operational improvement, and budget and PO management. They will also partner closely with internal eBay teams including Customer Service, Product, Legal, and our Vertical business teams to continuously drive a better experience for our buyers and sellers.. The ideal candidate will have significant Retail/eCommerce operations experience, ideally in the Luxury authentication space, and have a deep understanding of how to build and maintain effective partner relationships.
Please note that this role will be fully on-site at our facilities centre in West London.
