- Ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.
- Ensure Safe Systems of Work are adhered to.
- Oversee thorough training of drivers in transportation safety and compliance.
- Oversee management of HR processes – RTW’s, formal Investigations, disciplinaries etc.
- Oversee management of driver performance to achieve high standards of customer service, ensuring a high level of NPS / Happy Customer score is achieved.
- Ensure all relevant information is recorded for transport KPIs.
- Help to Manage driver hours in line with working time legislation.
- Vehicle and driver records are managed in line with relevant legislation in preparation for transport audits.
- Investigate driver incident reports.
- Undertake investigations as and when required.
- Actively promote and manage good health and safety practices within the working environment.
- Experience as an Operations Manager
- PC literate with good knowledge of Excel
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Able to delegate tasks effectively
- Self-motivated to work as an individual when required
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards.
