      About the team and the role: TCGplayer promotes and drives growth of our products and services by connecting a global community of millions of buyers with tens of thousands of retailers in a $25B global collectible hobby market.

      TCGplayer Direct provides an enhanced customer experience and logistics solutions for our retail sellers by shipping thousands of orders every day. By handling the delivery, customer service and products that buyers purchase every day, Direct is a growth engine for buyers, sellers and the marketplace.

      Who You Are

      As a Operations Manager you will be responsible for providing inspired leadership of our fulfillment operations. Your core responsibilities will include oversight of fulfillment teams, capacity planning, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving organizational excellence through practices like culture development, talent development and performance management.

      What you will accomplish:

      • Lead by example by creating a set of experiences for our teams that drives a balanced culture of innovation, teamwork, and results

      • Develop policies and processes that ensures our fulfillment center is full of high performing team members

      • Ensure processes are in place that grow our people and our organization so that we can successfully scale to meet our customers’ needs, and ensure all team members are being mentored and developed

      • Maintain quality standards set by the organization and ensure process discipline within the organization at all times

      • Collaborate with Production Control on capacity planning and own department KPI performance

      • Ensure best practices are implemented in terms of change management and communication to keep the full AC aligned

      • Improve cross-functional, inter-departmental, cross-shift communication and alignment by developing structured processes and communication paths

      • Drive structure into our fulfillment center operations to ensure precision execution, leads the hiring and training of departmental managers and supervisors.

      • Oversee performance management and employee matters to ensure consistency and fairness in adherence to company policies

      • Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes and has influence on company communications for policy and procedural updates

      • Continuously monitor and improve Health, Safety, and Environmental standards with a key focus on ergonomics

      • Support and cover other Senior Managers during peer time off

      • Other projects and duties as assigned

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Business Operations, Management, or related field in regards to Supply Chain Management

      • 10+ years of experience managing large organizations or functional departments

      • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead change

      • Quantifiable evidence of delivering results

      • Leadership experience within order fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing operations is required

      • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills

      The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

      $84,800 - $146,900

      Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

      If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
