- Scheduling of staff based on workload
- Running shifts with safety and efficiency as priorities
- Maintain and report daily work logs to corporate office
- Audit of daily labor and billing reports
- Performance management of staff, including hiring, counseling and interpretation of State and Federal employment laws
- Proactive demeanor and practitioner of continuous improvement using lean tools of 5S, 5 Why, Kaizen and one-piece flow
- Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership and customer service skills
- The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing warehouse environment
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience a must
- Proven track record in supervision of warehouse employees including hiring and training
- Experience and ability to create and maintain various management reports
- Knowledge of DOT/Hazmat, OSHA
