      Do you have strong leadership experience in operations and want to lead, develop, and mentor a team? In this role you will oversee the operations of marine, pipeline, rail and the truck terminal at the Burrard Terminal.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • 10 years of leadership experience in refining, tank farm or distribution operations with expert knowledge of product handling hazards and labour relations

      • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

      • Computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and operational management systems

      • Proficient in directing and leading within a unionized work environment and working collaboratively with cross functional teams

      • You are a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to make decisions with integrity, resolve conflict in a timely and effective manner and support company objectives and policies

      Responsibilities:

      • Oversee the operations of marine, pipeline, rail and truck terminal

      • Accountable for implementation and sustainment of operational excellence management system (OEMS)

      • Lead, develop and mentoring Front Line Leaders and Cross Functional Team to ensure development and competency of employees through setting expectations and holding individuals accountable to meet those expectations

      • Build strong positive relationships with supply and rack forward as the key operational interface

      • Maintain a visible presence to develop employee engagement, assess work process effectiveness and ensure that a well-adapted approach to safety is present

      • Act as the operations section chief on the distribution response management team. In the event of a major incident at the terminal would respond as the local incident commander.

      • Build strong positive relationships with facility supervisors for consistency and improving practices

      • Work with internal and external partners to ensure all distribution assets are fully optimized and utilized across Suncor

      Location and other Key Details:

      • You will work out of our Burrard Products terminal office located at 1155 Glenayre Drive, Port Moody, British Columbia

      • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs

      • This position is safety sensitive

      • Relocation support will be provided
