- Leads strategy execution as provided by the Greenwood team, in the following areas: Safety, Quality and Production KPI Goals. Work with the staffing provider to ensure proper headcount levels, and clear understanding of all requirements such as: equipment, materials and training required to execute the plan.
- Responsible for full financial oversight that requires review & approval of expenditures directly and indirectly tied to the facility’s budget. The objective is to operate efficiently and effectively while holding operating expenses within the corporate guidelines. Knowledge and experience with SAP system required.
- Forecasts will be provided by the Greenwood, SC team. Local responsibility will be structuring the staffing schedules to efficiently process the forecasted volume.
- Communicates and shares PPPG business objectives and goals, with all appropriate members of the labor provider’s management team.
- Works on-site in Portland, OR reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations in Greenwood, work with all the support teams in Greenwood, such as Quality, R&D, Systems Engineering, Material Management, Finance, etc., to lead the execution of the production plans required of the Portland operation.
- Encourages and champions an atmosphere of Continuous Improvement by fostering an environment with the 3rd Party Staffing vendor’s management team of inclusion and participation throughout the facility.
- Works closely with the Sr. Director of Operations in formulating plans addressing constraints, obstacles or other challenges that may significantly impact attainment of ongoing business objectives.
- Direct, supervise and coach the multiple subordinate management team staff providing guidance to oversee all aspects of the manufacturing environment. As referenced, areas of focus would be the production floor, equipment maintenance, I.T. and warehouse. Assign clear objectives that align with group, divisional and corporate goals. Participates in yearly employee performance evaluations with 3rd party staffing vendor.
- Develops Portland EHS objectives and targets with accompanying programs. Ensures implementation of established objectives and targets.
- Bachelor’s degree, or certification, either financial or engineering or related with quantitative disciplines, plus 10 + years’ work experience in a fast paced and highly competitive operational and / or manufacturing environment in a managerial capacity.
- Ability to research and analyze various types of data information and make sound business judgments driven by efficiency, productivity, and maximization of equipment.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in Leadership in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated project planning and project management skills.
- Green Belt in Lean Manufacturing principles.

Position Overview
We are hiring for an Operations Manager within the Imaging Division (ID). The position is responsible for the operational execution of the PPPG Lab in Portland, OR. Provides direction to the senior personnel of the on-site labor provider. Works with the Greenwood Senior Management team to ensure clear direction is provided to the personnel of the on-site labor provider regarding all manufacturing operations, warehousing, and procurement functions in support of the wholesale production and fulfillment of customer photo prints and related products. Reviews all invoices to ensure spending is tightly controlled and in line with business expectations. Functional reporting will be to the VP of Operations in Greenwood, SC.
FNAC-ID Personalized Photo Products Group (PPPG) now makes more than 450 personalized items (such as coffee mugs, posters, framed prints, canvas wall décor and more). PPPG provides a turnkey, back-end service of producing these items for a variety of retail and online customers.
