      What will you do?

      The operations manager role is responsible for providing support to the strategic partnership team and leadership team in the delivery of the strategy. In this role you will be required to effectively manage and oversee all operational aspects in the achievement of the business objectives.
      Key outcomes

      Strategic projects of the business area for the future
      - Subject matter expert on Glacier strategic projects
      - Drive ease of doing business processes / practices for the client, intermediary and key partnership stakeholders

      Operational Efficiency
      - Accountable for execution of tactical business plans (derived from Strategic Partnership Strategy) at operational level
      - Undertake the development, implementation, and monitoring of operational plans to meet the strategic goals of the business area
      - Work closely with regional stakeholders to ensure alignment in practices
      - Accountable for implementation and monitoring the digital effectiveness
      - Coordinate and oversee service level agreements for the Business to ensure turnaround times are maintained
      - Own relationship with external vendors
      - Coordinate error corrections
      - Represent leadership on forums
      - Coordinate the process and implementation of distribution agreements and budgeting of fee deals / special quote process
      - Develop and maintain relationships with internal divisions
      - Implement effective and appropriate of operational processes (in collaboration with Information Technology team, Client Service and Operations team, Product development team etc.)
      Collaborate with various stakeholders
      - Service level manager – facilitate new request and queries in line with Lisp Relationship Agreement/Interim Services Agreement
      - Builds relationships with peers, colleagues and multiple stakeholders across business areas and value chain

      Data analytics and Reporting

      - Understanding the financial drivers of the business and implement focus areas what will speak to the financial drivers

      Provide strategic leadership / people management within Glacier Strategic Partnership team and broader senior leadership team of Glacier
      - Take full responsibility for performance of all direct reports; motivating, developing, and managing the team in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives, focusing on all aspects of sound people management
      - Foster and cultivate practices that support the Glacier culture and values change management support

      Strategic initiatives
      - Support in the preparation and implementation of strategic initiatives
      - Co-ordination of activities and business streams
      - Manage key internal and external relationships
      - Implementation and takeover of transition services

      What will make you successful in this role?

      Qualifications and experience
      - Degree or diploma, preferably business
      - Project management and/or business analysis qualification or equivalent (advantage)
      - Experience in financial services (advantage)
      - Min 3-5 years people management experience, with a solid understanding of leadership and culture

      Degree or Diploma with 6 to 8 years related experience
