Facilitate functions within the Workforce Systems workgroup.
Shepherd and steward GWS resources to further Wycliffe USA’s strategic priorities, principles and objectives.
Actively participate in GWS team engagements to optimize team culture, cohesion, performance and outcomes.
Faithfully and regularly pray for the ongoing work of Bible translation and for people from around the world to experience transformation.
Act as an organizational representative presenting the global ministry of Wycliffe and encouraging interested individuals, organizations, and churches to participate in the work of Bible translation.
Live out the conviction of “work flows through relationship” by passionately “loving God and loving people” through word and deed. Prioritize relationships over tasks to ensure excellence in service delivery to constituents.
Collaborate on departmental initiatives to provide a best-in-class work experience for Wycliffe USA candidates and staff.
Represent the GWS team in meetings, projects, workshops, and partnership efforts as assigned. Contribute to team projects and efforts as requested or assigned.
Cooperate inter-departmentally to advance the Bible Translation movement and organizational goals.
Support GWS Leadership in carrying out global workforce services functions, responsibilities, and service to internal/external customers through project management, administrative and operational support. Assist in advancing Wycliffe USA and GWS operational and administrative objectives.
Execute tasks with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Provide administrative support, including calendar management, expense management and reporting, and travel logistics coordination.
Prepare professional presentations and other documents. Proofread and edit for clarity and accuracy.
Engage in verbal, phone, in-person, and electronic communication.
Exhibit action-oriented behavior, taking the initiative to complete assigned tasks and projects promptly.
Partner on the development and implementation of improvements to advance operational health and excellence.
Contribute to change management by maintaining order, stability and alignment to the organizational objectives and priorities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Workforce Systems, Senior Director of Workforce Systems and Vice President of Global Workforce Services.
Other Requirements: Must have a strong reliable internet and phone connection. Ability and willingness to alter work schedules in order to work off-hours as needed across time zones. Anticipate needs and develop proactive action plans to adequately meet the needs of customers.

Bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience in operations, administration, business, and/or human resources; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Familiarity with the Wycliffe/SIL context and ministry service is preferred.

Job Description
At Wycliffe Bible Translators, your work is more than just a job. As an Operations Specialist, you’ll use your skills to resource, improve and advance people-centered workforce management services. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in implementing successful administrative and operational support that enhance Wycliffe’s ability to carry out its mission.
Together with the Senior Director and workgroup members, you’ll elevate our GWS’s readiness to respond to customers’ pursuit for assistance, information, guidance, and/or partnership in relation to our workforce services. You’ll partner with other workgroup members on supporting day-to-day operations via effective communication, customer service, project management, managing event logistics, risk management and expediting administrative tasks. Additionally you’ll help ensure our workforce resources and services reflect our organizational/team ethos, while remaining responsive to internal/external partners in efforts to attain greater missional effectiveness.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $18.69/hr - $21.73/hr. Actual pay rate may be higher based on various factors such as qualifications, skills and experience, required training, licensure and/or certifications, budget, and allocation, if applicable. Additionally, the range for this position is based upon and considers Wycliffe’s non-profit ministry environment.
