Job Description

- A valid Florida CDL Class “A” driver’s license for at least one (1) year
- Ability to obtain one year valid DOT medical card from Disney’s Health Services
- Ability to pass the Disney road test
- Recent tractor-trailer experience or experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc…
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
- Experience operating solid waste vehicles such as: Front-loaders, side-loaders, box trucks, and roll offs

The Operator Solid Waste Equipment is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of solid waste vehicles on the Walt Disney World property and deliver solid waste and recycling materials to the landfill, transfer station or other designated locations. The candidate must have a class “A” CDL driver’s license and have a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience. Must pass drug and DOT driving tests.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $26.23 per hour.

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.
