What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage day-to-day DBA operations including executing SQL scripts and resolving database incidents
- Participate in on-call rotation to address database alerts and notifications promptly
- Support development and QA teams during deployment activities by executing assigned DBA tasks
- Ensure business systems availability and maintain customer satisfaction across operational teams
- Contribute to ongoing projects related to automation, infrastructure-as-code, and technology updates
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing Oracle 19c in a production environment
- Proven experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle Data Guard
- Understanding of backup and recovery procedures for Oracle 19c using RMAN
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Infrastructure and the ability to support database servers on Linux and Windows operating systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with SQL Server 2016 or newer and tools like SQL Server Management Studio
- Knowledge of HA/DR strategies for SQL Server, including Always-On Availability Group
- Experience in scripting/deployment languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Professional Certifications in AWS and database technologies
- Basic understanding of CI/CD methodologies
