- Be responsible for leading on the delivery of a highly effective induction process.
- Oversight and responsibility for the Trusts Annual Training Plan.
- Oversight of the provision and support for the management of Trust-wide e-learning content and products.
- Provide audit and assurance to the Trust and external agencies of appropriate use of external funding.
- Ensuring all learning, development and other interventions available through the team is of a high standard and quality.
- To chair the Trust-wide Learning, Education and Training Group
- 27 days leave plus bank holidays, increasing up to 33 days with long service

- Masters or equivalent level of knowledge
- Appropriate professional qualification in organisational development or L&D e.g. CIPD
- Evidence of continuing professional development in advanced Communication and relationship skills
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
- Experience of working in OD or HR at a senior level, in a complex
- environment
- Experience of developing strategies, plans, policies and procedures
- Experience of supporting teams and or individuals through change
- Designing team development activities and facilitating bespoke learning with multi-professional teams
- Competency based learning, and designing assessments of
- learning
- Designing, developing and managing learning and development functions, including the implementation of an organisation-wide Annual Training Plan.
- Commissioning and oversight of training and development interventions, including management of associated budgets.
- Work as a team member
- Working independently and managing own workload
- Managing working/ project groups

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and empowering practitioner to drive, support and shape our agenda, with a specific focus on induction and learning and development, enabling the Trust to become a fantastic place to work.
You will be at the forefront of helping to shape our people, teams and culture to enable and empower our staff to have a fantastic experience of working at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust and supporting the delivery of safe and compassionate care for all.
