What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct telephonic outreach to patients to educate them about clinic appointment availability
- Assist patients in setting up appointments with the clinical care team and their primary care provider
- Use motivational interviewing techniques to address psychosocial barriers to scheduling
- Serve as a liaison for patients, directing calls to appropriate departments as needed
- Track outreach and document outcomes in the designated tracking system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience
- At least 1 year of telephonic customer service experience
- Understanding of call center performance operations
- Proficient with Microsoft and Google applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a medical practice or healthcare setting
- Call center experience; bilingual candidates are preferred
- Medical Terminology certification
