What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and supervise the Outside Sales function to implement and execute a sales/marketing plan
- Analyze customer buying motivators and develop competitor profiles
- Establish benchmarks for sales participation and develop a territorial sales plan
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews and bi-weekly sales meetings with sales personnel
- Provide training and support for outside sales personnel as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience
- Computer literacy
- Familiarity with TQM and ISO9000 practices
- Strong understanding of finance for non-financial managers, strategic selling, and time management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Completion or working towards MGA
- Metallurgy training and/or experience
- Leadership and team-building experience
- Training in strategic planning and motivation
- 1-2 years of operations or inside sales experience
