What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage day-to-day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers in the designated territory
- Engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in person and virtually
- Serve as a business advisor towards customers
- Utilize CRM program to track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customer requests
- May require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds and working around fumes or chemicals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in sales, ideally outside sales within the building materials or construction industries
- Passion for providing solutions to customers and achieving successful sales growth
- Knowledge or experience in building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to self-direct, manage time effectively, and organize responsibilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.
