What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and credit terms
- Attend sales meetings and trade shows to stay informed about market conditions and trends
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective selling strategies and marketing information
- Maintain customer records and prepare sales presentations and proposals
- Identify and engage prospective customers through various channels and networking opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of two years of successful outside sales experience preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and administrative skills
- Must be available for extensive overnight travel
- Proficiency in PC skills, including spreadsheets and word processing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in selling heavy machinery, construction equipment, or military vehicles
- Familiarity with aircraft and ground support equipment sales
- Knowledge and interest in the equipment industry
