What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and evaluate Medicaid members' Utilization Management requests
- Apply clinical judgment to determine approval or denial of prior authorizations
- Communicate regularly with healthcare providers regarding Utilization Management requests
- Participate in monthly video calls with the supervisor and maintain daily communication with team members
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
- Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Strong ability to make clinical decisions independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with typing speed of at least 35 words per minute

- Experience with Pharmacy Benefits Management
- Proficient in learning new computer systems and basic IT troubleshooting
