Within the Development & Technology department, in the Materials & Package Analysis team we are now looking for a committed

Package Test Method Expert

As a Package Test Method Expert you will be the technical expert on released and applied test methods, also owning the historical test results database. You will collaborate with Test Method Owner and Developer and be the leader of the implementation of new test method in the laboratory being the most expert on practical use of the equipment and the methods. You will also Plan, Coordinate, Drive, Execute, Document and follow-up packages test activities, according to existing procedures, standards, methods, in partnership with colleagues and Specialists of different packaging areas.

The position is based in Modena, Italy.

What you will do

• Drive continuous improvement activities within Package Analysis
• Contribute as expert in new package test method development and major continuous improvement
• Be responsible of minor continuous improvement within Package test method development process
• Drive scouting of new technologies and equipment
• Prepare and supply final technical report to the requesters, supporting projects in analysing and interpreting data.

We believe you have

• University Master Degree in scientific subjects (e.g. Material Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• Fluent written and verbal knowledge in English, Italian knowledge will be considered as a big advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Power Point)
• The capacity to make things happen in the organization and, by taking the initiative, to drive them to completion
• The ability to work together with others, exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals
• A combination of an analytical and practical mind. You are a good team player
• The skills to make good judgment, take initiatives, and drive activities independently.
• The mindset and the curiosity to work in a laboratory environment.
