What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide on-site and remote support for production operations and clients within the Packaging Platform
- Collaborate with R&D and sales teams to support new product introductions and resolve client concerns
- Travel to client locations to investigate performance issues and provide recommended corrective resolutions
- Conduct product trials and testing to evaluate materials for compatibility with production specifications
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, technical reports, and customer communications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a technical support role within the folding carton or packaging industry
- Advanced training or experience in cGMPs and ISO
- Ability to understand and interpret federal regulations and company operating procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with troubleshooting designs, materials, and processes in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality and production standards in the packaging industry
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on cost-effective solutions
