Hands on paid search/PPC experience with Google platforms and tools including using 1st party data/Customer Match, audience development, targeting capabilities, and creative format testing to drive results.
Technical skills across Google Ads (and Microsoft Ads advertising is a plus) products and campaign types, with the main proficiency on Search-based campaign types.
Experience proactively managing, optimising, and creating paid search campaigns from keyword research to ad copywriting and reporting, with strong analytical skills to support your team in crafting reports with story-led insights and trends.
Technical skills across non-Search-based campaign types such as Performance Max, Demand Gen, Display, and YouTube campaign types are a plus.
Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to partner and work cross-channel with SEO, paid media, and other digital marketing colleagues to develop a holistic approach to programs that support cross-channel experiences.
Salary between circa £33,000 – circa £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Develop effective holistic search programs that deliver business impact!
We are currently recruiting for a Paid Search Executive to be a part of our Digital Marketing and Paid Media team! Do you enjoy turning results and insights into action, including delivering trading performance experience? If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you! This role could be based in our Norwich or London offices.
We’re looking for someone who has worked across a range of brand, product, and proposition activity; with good experience in effective campaign and account set-up across search platforms, performance optimisations and harnessing new platform capabilities to develop strategies to deliver profitable growth for Aviva. Working in regulated environments is a plus!
A bit about the job:
Our new Marketing Centre of Excellence (CoE) has been formed with the aim of building world class capabilities across key marketing disciplines, from planning through to rapidly evolving digital marketing channels. It changes the emphasis of what we do from product to customer and capability, with the ambition of delivering on our One Aviva strategy. The Marketing CoE is made up of 5 specialist teams - Marketing Strategy, Reporting and Planning; CRM, Content and Creative; Digital Marketing and Media; Customer Insight and Research; the team will lead on all marketing activity.
As one of the Paid Search Executives, you will be responsible for the delivery of paid search strategy and capabilities to deliver ambitious growth for selected Aviva products – creating and managing paid search/PPC campaigns across the full marketing funnel – from demand generation through to conversion activity across all associated search platforms (i.e., Google – Search, Demand Gen, Performance Max, and YouTube Ads).
You’ll have experience working with 1st party data and driving growth from existing and new customer groups, effectively delivering test and learn initiatives to drive cost efficiencies while gaining actionable insights. You’ll have a strong analytical mindset to turn ever-changing numbers into trends and stories to influence your team’s investment decision-making process.
