What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee accuracy and necessary follow-up on docket entries
- Support the Supervising Attorney with respect to intellectual property matters
- Address and respond to incoming subpoenas and personnel file requests
- Gather documents to support litigation defense from internal business partners
- Maintain litigation records and documents, including tracking document production
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- At least two years' experience as a paralegal, clerk, or similar role in intellectual property
- Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong ability to multitask and meet fast turnaround deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- A working knowledge of ecommerce websites and experience with conducting complex searches on the Internet
- Analytical skills with the ability to think critically
- Strong orientation to detail, including editing and proofreading abilities
