What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage personal injury litigation cases from intake through trial preparation
- Gather and organize medical records, police reports, and supporting documentation
- Draft demand letters, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and closing statements
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, providers, and opposing counsel throughout the life of the case
- Track case deadlines and ensure procedural steps are completed on time
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience as a paralegal
- Deep understanding of Florida personal injury case flow and insurance policy interpretation
- Solid working knowledge of the Florida Civil Rules of Procedure
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal case management software
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience preparing closing statements and negotiating medical bill reductions
- Familiarity with Florida E-filing/E-portal systems and court procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to client service
