What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare, review, edit, proofread, and manage legal documents such as NDAs and partnership agreements
- Organize and maintain corporate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in managing corporate and financial licensing filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Identify bottlenecks in legal workflows and recommend scalable process improvements
- Gather documentation and prepare materials for audits and regulatory filings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 4 years of experience as a corporate or commercial paralegal in an AmLaw 200 firm or mature in-house legal department
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex projects and manage ambiguity effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong judgment for prioritization
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives
- Proficiency with tools like GSuite or Office365, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and contract management software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in fintech, blockchain, or financial services environments
- Background in state licensing requirements and corporate formation
- Exposure to startup legal operations and cross-functional collaboration
- Active New York Notary Public commission
