What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, and manage family law documents, including financial disclosures
- Screen potential client calls and lead initial consultations when needed
- Translate for attorneys and clients to ensure clear, professional communication
- Coordinate and schedule consultations, mediations, and court hearings
- Maintain attorney calendars and proactively manage deadlines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of experience as a paralegal in U.S. family law (Florida experience strongly preferred)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of Florida court systems, forms, and procedures
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and confident working in a fully remote setup
- Reliable internet and a quiet, professional home workspace
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Paralegal certification and college degree preferred (commensurate experience considered)
- Comfortable using Clio, Lawmatics, or similar legal tech platforms
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a commitment to professionalism
