      A part-time academic is required to teach German 1027.03: German Fiction in Novel and Film II Writing Requirement – Winter Term 2026 (January 1, 2025 – April 31, 2025)
      Currently Scheduled: Online Asynchronous

      The class will be conducted in English, with references to the original German text and film. The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including admission, lectures, test preparation, evaluation, supervising Teaching Assistants, and electronic submission of grades. The Part-Time Academic should have competence in teaching writing skills as well as novel and film analysis to a large group with widely ranging abilities. The candidate must have strong organizational skills and the ability to lead a team of tutorial leaders and markers, and be available to students outside of class time. The Part-Time Academic reports to the Chair of the Department.
