      Day Shift with occasional evenings and weekends required

      Pay: Starting at $18.56+ (Based Upon Experience)

      Position Summary
      We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to support the development and delivery of programs that enhance the quality of life for residents in both Assisted Living and Long-Term Care centers. This role focuses on providing assistance in creating and implementing therapeutic and recreational activities tailored to residents' individual needs.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Assist in assessing residents' skills and abilities to identify their needs.
      • Support the creation and execution of personalized goals and programs for residents.
      • Help plan and facilitate individual and group sessions, incorporating therapeutic activities and monitoring progress.
      • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to evaluate and adapt programs as needed.
      • Maintain accurate and detailed records of interventions, treatments, and progress.
      • Assist in sourcing and preparing materials for activities and programs.
      • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

      Qualifications

      • Required: Background in Health Services or a related field.
      • Encouraged but Not Required: Experience in Recreational Therapy.
