Job Description
- Req#: 1855
- Teach two to three sections of French language, including preparing lessons and instruction, doing regular assessments and providing feedback, and writing midterm and end-of-term reports for all students.
- Attend Language Department and French language team meetings.
- BA in French, second language education, or related field.
- Three years’ experience teaching French is preferred.
- Native or near-native fluency in French.
- Experience with the effective use of technology in the learning process, including language labs.
- Experience planning and facilitating collaborative, student-centered classes.
- Passion for teaching French language and culture.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication (oral and written) abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, as needed and appropriate.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Google suite and Microsoft Office suite.
