Job Description

- Across OCOO domains, partners with OCOO Vice Presidents and leadership to support operational and clinical integration priorities, accountable for the implementation and sustainable performance of key programmatic initiatives
- Works closely with SME and key stakeholders in relevant work groups
- Helps guide and augment OCOO project managers in relevant work groups
- Leverages knowledge in clinical operations and integration to inform and augment key initiatives
- Able to work across any OCOO domain as needed
- Represents OCOO and system operations perspective on appointed committees
- Strengthens and helps lead programmatic execution
- Convenes system and site-based stakeholders/leaders around challenging clinical integration and operational programmatic work
- Gather strategic intelligence to help effectively target efforts and build consensus:
- Work with and key stakeholders to gather perspectives on existing clinical-operational environment, processes, pain points, and opportunities
- Utilizes industry benchmarks and best practices in solution design and implementation
- Leverage the above intelligence to assist OCOO VPs/leadership to build group cohesion around a shared understanding of the operational environment/gaps, precisely articulate opportunities, and design solutions
- Ensure that offline work is coordinated, managed, and executed to maintain momentum of working groups
- Guide project managers to strengthen their output and ability to drive forward their domains of work
- Ensure solutions are implemented and their impact on key performance metrics is tracked

- Other duties as assigned
- Physician leader who brings clinical knowledge and deep expertise in hospital operations across diverse clinical domains
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex hospital operations in a large healthcare system setting that has Academic Medical Centers and Community Hospitals
- Ability to utilize data and analytics to drive improved operational performance
- Role may be up to a 0.6 FTE
