1 Position Summary/Job Duties:
We’re seeking a caring, reliable, and responsible student to join our family as a part-time nanny for the spring semester, with the potential to continue into the summer.
You’d care for our two children — a 3-year-old boy and an almost 1.5-year-old girl — on Thursday afternoons for 4 hours (1:30-5:30). I (mom) will be home from 1:30–2:00 before leaving to teach at UW, and my husband finishes work at 5:00. He will use the last half hour (5:00–5:30) to walk our dogs and prep dinner, so you’ll stay until 5:30.
A typical Thursday looks like:
We have two friendly dogs (a Lab and a Golden Retriever), so comfort with pets is important.
On occasional weeks when grandparents are visiting, childcare may not be needed. In those cases, we’d ask for help with household tasks such as light cleaning, dishes, laundry, grocery shopping (mileage reimbursed), or helping with the dogs. You’d still be paid for the full 4 hours even if you finish early — guaranteed monthly pay of $320.
