      Part Time-Proctors

      St. George’s University invites applicants
      for the position of
      Part-Time Proctor within the Office of Institutional Advancement.

      Special notes to applicants

      · Applicant must be a resident or citizen of Grenada

      · A complete CV and application letter MUST be uploaded

      · Applicant must have a flexible schedule and available between the hours of 7:00am – 9:00pm


      Due to conflict of interest the following individuals are ineligible to service as proctors
      :
      current students, immediate family (persons within your household) or significant others of current SGU students.

      · Review of applicants will be ongoing until candidates are identified

      Objective

      Examination proctors are entrusted with maintaining the high standards that St. George’s University has established for the administration of examinations.

      Essential Functions

      § Conduct examinee ID checks and admittance

      § Monitor the exam venue/test room during the administration of exams

      § Read/announce standard exam instructions to examinees/test takers

      § Enforce time limits and compliance with other examination procedures

      § Distribute examination materials to examinees

      § Document exam irregularities and prepare appropriate exam reports

      § Conduct inventorying of exam materials as needed

      § Excellent written and oral communication skills

      § Excellent customer service skills

      § Discretion in the handling of confidential information

      § Capable of problem solving and demonstrating initiative

      § Respectfully assertive in commanding attention and cooperation

      § Punctual and vigilant in their respective duties

      Work Environment/Physical Demands

      § Ability to stand for extended periods

      § While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.


      Qualifications

      § A graduate of a recognized tertiary institution

      § Basic understanding of computer applications
