What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver primary care telemedicine services following site-specific protocols in family, geriatric, or internal medicine
- Provide on-call tele triage and ensure proper consents are obtained prior to telemedicine visits
- Maintain open communication with facility staff and provide necessary feedback regarding patient care
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards governing healthcare delivery
- Complete documentation and manage patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
- Current and valid license to practice advanced nursing or physician assistant in KY and IN
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or internal medicine is desired
- All necessary certifications must be current and valid
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in telehealth or telemedicine services
- Additional state licenses beyond KY and IN
- Familiarity with telemedicine equipment and technology
- Previous experience working in skilled nursing or assisted living facilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
