What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct qualitative analysis of core values of a hotel company across various source materials
- Perform thematic coding and discourse analysis of historical documents and social media posts
- Assist faculty with various research projects as needed
- Engage with large corpuses of text to identify emerging themes
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance research outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate degree in a related topic area completed or in progress
- Ability to read and interpret large volumes of text
- Experience with qualitative data analysis, discourse analysis, historical analysis, or semantic analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in qualitative research methodologies
- Familiarity with thematic coding techniques
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
