What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Recruit participants for qualitative research interviews
- Conduct interviews and analyze qualitative data
- Develop and maintain a codebook for interview coding
- Assist in writing research findings for publication and presentation
- Collaborate with the research team to apply for additional funding
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in social/behavioral sciences, nursing, healthcare, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Entry-level candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree; intermediate candidates need one year of clinical research experience; senior candidates require two years of experience
- Ability to work independently and effectively with a research team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and discussing sensitive topics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field or social/behavioral sciences
- Three years of professional experience in a role with direct clinical care
- Previous experience working with transgender and gender diverse adults
- Grant-writing experience
- Knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
