What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the management and maintenance of turfgrass research plots in golf course settings
- Apply chemical pesticides and fertilizers as directed, adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct research experiments related to turfgrass health and performance
- Collect, process, and record data on turfgrass growth, health, and environmental responses
- Collaborate with team members to set up, monitor, and maintain experiments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Background in plant science, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field preferred
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work early morning hours as required by research protocols
- Comfortable handling chemical pesticides and fertilizers (training provided)
- Valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
