What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in performing laboratory, greenhouse, and field-based plant genetic research
- Manage seed inventory and prepare materials for planting in greenhouse and field nurseries
- Conduct controlled pollinations and harvest seeds in both greenhouse and field settings
- Prepare and conduct greenhouse experiments while collecting and analyzing data
- Coordinate field activities across multiple growing seasons and track seed entries

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology to facilitate effective communication within the lab
- Strong organizational skills and a professional working attitude
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in shared databases and spreadsheet platforms
- Ability to work semi-independently under general supervision
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with collaborators and personnel
