What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and write a research plan for a topic in forensic biology or forensic chemistry
- Implement the research plan and collect experimental data while using appropriate controls

What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. (or equivalent) in forensic science, biology, chemistry, or a related field
- At least one year of relevant laboratory experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with data analysis software, particularly R
- Previous research experience in forensic science or a related field
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
