What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist faculty in organizing coursework and managing course logistics
- Explain biology concepts and provide academic support to students during office hours

- Collaborate with faculty to enhance the overall educational experience for students
- Maintain communication with students and faculty regarding course expectations and resources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a full-time registered student at the employer
- Successful completion of the biology course for which assistance is being provided
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and faculty
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to uphold academic integrity and support a positive learning environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a tutoring role
- Familiarity with the curriculum and teaching methods in the Department of Biology
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring students
