      Position Overview Pasting Operator will include applying the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help our world class batteries hold its charge. You will be loading raw materials into machines, manually on/off bear materials from/to machines and perform visual inspections for quality and quantity. Areas of Focus Pasting Operator will be committed to perform role safely and wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a respirator. Responsibilities Level I • Applies the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help the battery to hold its charge • Loads raw materials into machines • Manually on and off bears materials from/to machines • Assists operator in monitoring pasting machine function • Performs visual inspections for quality and quantity • Enters data into Data collector • Operates forklift to move materials Basic Qualifications • High School diploma • Ability to work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant • Two-three (2-3) years manufacturing/plant experience with a strong and consistent work history • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment • Must be committed to safety excellence and have ability to wear all required PPE (including a respirator) • Must be clean shaven • All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site • Must be able to lift 50 - 80 lbs. and stand for long periods of time • Strong team skills
