What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Register patients, schedule appointments, and update patient information
- Assist patients with inquiries and respond to a high volume of calls and faxes
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
- Manage electronic health record documentation and respond to patient messages
- Adhere to safety, HIPAA, and compliance policies while providing customer service

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certificate/diploma required
- 1 year of patient care experience in a medical office required
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of call center and/or patient access experience preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to maintain composure during challenging interactions
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and practice management systems
