What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform all registration activities for patients in various access areas, ensuring accurate demographic and financial information is collected
- Obtain financial clearance and perform insurance verification through multiple channels
- Assign or verify medical record numbers (MRN) while adhering to patient identification policies
- Collect patient financial obligations and meet cash collection goals
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare experience in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle roles
- Experience with multi-line and high-volume telephone calls in a healthcare setting preferred
- Flexibility in scheduling, including evening commitments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a medical or healthcare call center setting
- Familiarity with healthcare insurance processes and regulations
- Knowledge of patient registration and consent processes
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems
