What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Register new patients by obtaining demographics, insurance information, and source of referral
- Handle scheduling requests according to physician and authorization protocols
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Confirm and update patient information from prior visits as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a high school graduate
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience in registration, scheduling, and healthcare benefits is helpful
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a high call volume environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual communication in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in a call center or patient access role
