      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring high standards of customer service and compassion
      - Facilitate all components of patient entrance into the facility, including scheduling, registration, and benefit verification
      - Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record
      - Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and accreditation agencies
      - Perform financial clearance activities, including pre-visit collection

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma required; some college education is helpful
      - 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
      - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with excellent telephone etiquette
      - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
      - Competence in using various computer systems and a 10-key calculator

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans
      - Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with various stakeholders
      - Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
      - Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines with high accuracy
