What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive first impression
- Collect and verify patient demographic information in accordance with organizational standards
- Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries regarding referrals and insurance
- Participate in quality assurance reviews to maintain the integrity of patient data
- Utilize multiple online systems to verify insurance eligibility and document relevant information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer data-entry and typing at a minimum of 40 wpm
- Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional education or language skills
- Experience in healthcare finance and/or healthcare insurance
- Knowledge and experience in patient scheduling and registration within a healthcare setting
